Forensic
Imaging Training Course
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children offers a one-week
training course in forensic imaging techniques. The course is offered free-of-charge
to law-enforcement artists or those non-sworn individuals having a contractual
relationship with a recognized law-enforcement agency.
Missing
and Exploited Children Chief Executive Officer Seminar (CEO)
A two-day seminar providing Police Chiefs and Sheriffs an orientation
to issues related to missing and exploited children’s cases including
effective policies and practices, technical assistance, training, and
available resources.
Protecting
Children Online (PCO)
A four-and-one-half-day seminar to familiarize law-enforcement investigators
about the technical and legal issues of investigating computer-facilitated
crimes committed against children.
Protecting
Children Online for Prosecutors (PRO)
A four-and-one-half-day seminar to familiarize prosecutors with computer-facilitated
crimes committed against children and the ever-evolving legal and technical
issues surrounding those investigations.
Protecting
Children Online: Unit Commander/Policy Training (UC)
A two-and-one-half-day seminar to familiarize law-enforcement supervisors
with the technical, legal, and managerial issues of conducting investigations
of computer-facilitated crimes committed against children.
Responding to Missing and Abducted Children (RMAC)
A four-and-one-half-day seminar to provide law enforcement with the information
necessary to properly understand, investigate, and resolve missing
and abducted children cases.
